Kelly Edward Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University in May of 2004. He then went on to enroll in medical school. He graduated from the University of Kansas, School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Wilson became the Chief of Inpatient Internal Medicine at the Womack Army Medical Center in North Carolina in July of 2016. Dr. Wilson has used his extensive education in medicine along with his background in business to become a successful chief of medicine.

Kelly Edward Wilson: A Brief Descriptions of Chronic Disease Management

Kelly Edward Wilson is the Chief of Inpatient Internal Medicine at the Womack Army Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas, School of Medicine in May of 2012. Dr. Wilson completed an internal medicine internship between 2012 and 2013 as well as an internal medicine residency between 2013 and 2015. Dr. Kelly Edward Wilson became board certified in internal medicine in 2015. Kelly Edward Wilson is a physician in the United States Army. One of his interests is chronic disease management. He hopes to help patients who suffer from chronic diseases and illnesses.

Chronic diseases can make day to day life challenging. Diabetes, arthritis, lung disease, and hypertension are all considered chronic diseases. Patients who struggle with symptoms from chronic diseases often need to work closely with a doctor to manage their diseases and mitigate their symptoms. Diseases can affect patients in a wide range of ways. An important step in managing a chronic disease is to determine which methods and treatment options are best for a patient’s individual physiology.
